Daylight Savings Time – While other states in Australia observes Daylight Savings Time, Western Australia does not.

Australia currency and tipping – Because of the high rate of Western Australia holiday destinations, the government has provided guidelines regarding the Australian currency. Denominations come in $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. Coins come in 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent and $1 and $2.

Prices that are under 5 cent will be rounded up to the nearest 5 cent. For example, 3 and 4 cent will be automatically rounded up to 5 cent, but 12 cents, since it’s closer to 10 cents rather than 15 cents, will be rounded up to 10 cents.
