Best Western Australia Holiday Destinations for Water Babies

Western Australia Holiday Destinations – Surfing

Some people go on vacation to find water – I like calling them “water babies”. My family is water babies. They will do any activities that have something to do with water, including surfing.

Western Australia has some of the world’s best surfing spots. There’s Margaret River, which is the undisputed surf capital of Western Australia. It’s home to a huge array of powerful waves and has over 40 kilometers of the most scenic coastline you’ll ever see.

The Ningaloo Reef is one of the best Western Australia Holiday Destinations for surfing. It’s listed as a world heritage and is home to the Billabong Super Challenge events in the mid-90.

Western Australia Holiday Destinations – Fishing

Western Australia has the most abundant coastline and rivers in the world, which makes it excellent for fishing. If you’re into fishing, here are the top fishing spots in Australia.

Walpole is one of the most must-visit travel Western Australia. It has the best black bream fishing in the state and is visited by thousands of tourists every year. One can fish from the inlet or you can also try your hand at the virtually untapped deep-fish fishing.

Rottnest Island – This quiet little island is heaven for the fishing enthusiast. It offers huge schools of Samson, or sambo as how the locals call them. Rottnest Island is one of the best metro spots in Western Australia.

Western Australia Holiday Destinations – Beach

Sometimes, we prefer to just soak under the sun and take a deep at the beach. Some people, like me, are not a fan of water activities, although I can stay dipped in the water all day long. One thing that Western Australia holiday destinations can offer is beaches.

Cable Beach – Cable Beach is hailed as one of the most beautiful coastline. Located in Broome, it’s blessed with crystal-clear water fringed by 22 kilometers of pristine white sands. “Breath-taking” is indeed an understatement for Cable Beach.

Monkey Mia – My kids simply adore Monkey Mia! No, it’s not a beach with monkeys, but it’s a squeaky-clean beach where you’re going to find wild bottlenose dolphins! They usually come ashore to feed on fish, and maybe to say “hi” too! Monkey Mia is located in Denham, and I’m sure you’re going to love the aquamarine water!
